The first time she appeared on screen was in a supporting role on The Jennifer Garner starrer Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. When Milian returned to music she devoted her time to promoting her hit single Us Against the World and made a music video. Since then Milian stated that she has become more careful with what I feel deserved to be included on the album and resumed recording. Her popularity soared to new levels of popularity after she played a pivotal role in Friends, a popular sitcom. She received awards and nominations numerous times. The show with a massive success, ran for ten seasons. In addition, she played a role as a support in the movie Mothers and Daughters. She received the TV Guide Award as a result of her portrayal of the character Friends. Also, The Golden Derby Award was also given to her for the part she played in Cougartown.
