Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded, mostly in the horror or martial arts categories. Her style and approach is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies with a morbid fascination. Her first review was in 2009 and after gaining some status through the forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. She was on the website until 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents turned into Movie Nights. Presently, she hosts two podcasts: one covering the Charmed franchise and the other hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Ninja the Mission Force shows her acting as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. In addition, she appeared as a character in Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! She's appeared in Brad Jones' show Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing awful children's film or RiffTrax Live Shows as well in occasional adult comedy (such as Baywatch 2017.). The first time she reviewed a film was late 2009. She earned a great deal in popularity thanks to the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family.
