Anne Phung Nguyen

Hello, my name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my wonderful husband JP and extremely happy Dad Henry. My Instagram account @annephung is where most people follow me. I write about my life in general, my good and bad days. It was 1990 that my family relocated to America. When I was of one quarter, I joined my parents. Knowing I had an opportunity for a better life, I worked hard to impress them and had a clear vision for the success. I believed that my life would go one way or another: I'd graduate from university, be offered an executive position, marry and begin with a family. My life that I planned for me was not what it turned into. 2013 was the year I realized I disliked my corporate position. Even though the compensation and the status was great, I didn't feel like the work was satisfying. Instead I felt that I was just doing nothing but wasting time. In 2013, I discovered that my true passion was exercising. I also liked having fun and being able to assist other people. In the process of pursuing this new direction in life, I started to find the personal training I needed. My business started in 2014, and I'll be celebrating seven years of growth this year, 2021. As an Asian woman in the industry, there are a few. In the coaching industry I'm determined to be a positive influence by offering high-quality coaching to help others become healthier and more content. In addition, I wish for people to feel empowered to pursue their goals and be able to achieve whatever it is they wish for in life. While my career was taking off I also lost my mom. The loss of my mother is most devastating of them all. In Heaven she is now in peace after an 8-year battle against the disease known as Scleroderma. However, I carry my Mom with me and dream of her daily. The lessons of life are often hidden from us however they are highly beneficial. Many ways, my mom's death has changed my life. I honestly believe that she provided me with another chance to live through her demise. She passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was time for her to begin her new life, and also for me to have my second chance to live the most happy, joyful and fulfilling life. At the age of 30 I feel a sense of living and being alive. It's not as if I'm just a mere existence anymore. The purpose of the story I am sharing is to let you know that, you are not the only one. I would like you to be aware that love exists and that a therapy session can be regular. Your health is truly the most important asset you have. Because death is all that we can have I want you to enjoy living your life to the fullest and leave without regrets.
