Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd later went on to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first few minutes. Then, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was able to hand Aspen an unanimity loss and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. Aspen ended her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round at the end of the second. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the first round and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd won the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in an intense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
