Her most well-known role is her character Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox television series Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender in Dawson's Creek. She played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light, a role which won her the 2004 Soap Opera Digest Awards nomination as the best newcomer. Dollar played in ABC's Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 between 2007 and in 2008. The actress was on her 2012 NBC Pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked up.
